Who-ville Tablescape = Whimsical Grinch-y Christmas Magic!
It all started when I saw this snowball stem, thing-a-ma-bob at JoAnne’s…
It literally whispered to me- Who-Ville! Grinch! I could already see all the whimsy and magic of Cindy-Lou and Max, I was in love!
So, I picked up a few things at JoAnne’s and headed to the Hob Lob and found a WHOLE section of fun Ginch-y items, plus some other cutie little things, like light up tree ornaments, light up ginger bread houses, jingle bells and any and all colorful and “loud” (yes, even gaudy!) items. This was definitely not to be a quiet table. I was trying to channel Who-ville and the Who’s with their Zom-zonkers and Who-zinklers!
Keep scrolling for all the little details of this Ginch/Who-ville tablescape!
This is a close up of the white shimmer netted ribbon that was under and around everything, plus my fake “snow”. Also, we had these bottle brush trees that I bent over and trimmed to look Who-ville-ish! Just lots of bright colors and fun! So magical with the lights low.
One of my most favorite quotes from Dr. Seuss! If you can’t read it, it says “Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas… perhaps… means a little bit more!” So many good lines!
This is the backside of the quote sign, can you even handle this whimsical little Christmas Sweater? Insert heart eye emoji’s here! lol
I had these tall white trees and just kind of bent them over to look like something Dr. Seuss would approve of!
Doesn’t everything look more magical “through the looking glass”?
Picture of the whole table, it’s definitely a whimsical, colorful and chaotic kind of Who-ville vibe, like on Christmas morning when the Who’s open all their presents and are zooming around on their Tin-tinklers and Woo-zinkers!
This will be our "Children’s Table” for our big Christmas Eve dinner! Can’t wait!!
Thanks for scrolling to the end- I hope you’re enjoying a colorful, joyful, and even chaotic, Christmas Season!
Much love,
Patrice
